He has been preparing for the role from last week with the extras and production crew, who didn’t seem to be shooting actual scenes as many were sitting on top of the tank were dressed in their own clothes.
Brad, however, looked to be in full costume apart from the cap, in khaki overalls, a dark grey T-shirt and camouflage boots.
With the authentic garb and the new hairdo, which he chopped off on Monday, the Oklahoma-born actor looks to be getting into his role as Wardaddy for the World War 2 Movie.
Brad however, was allowed to actually ride one of the US tanks last Tuesday, and had a look on his face as if all his boyhood dreams had come true, riding around the English countryside.
Sitting atop the menacing machine, Brad could be seen listening intently to his instructor as they drove around a field.
The Hollywood star seemed popular as a team of instructors all showed him the ropes during his day long lesson.
The tank session is prep for Brad’s next project, World War 2 drama Fury, which is due to start filming in the coming weeks.
