The 25-year-old singer was seen carrying a giant black umbrella as she walked the city streets of New York wearing an unusual basketball jersey dress.

The Barbadian songstress displayed her toned legs in the dress, which from the front looked like a top but sported a knee-length train on the back.

In keeping with the sporty theme, Rihanna paired the dress with black-and-red high top trainers and accessorised with a large brown shoulder bag.

She wore her dark hair in a short styled ‘do and complemented her dress with crimson lips.
